She Moves Mountains
There she is my daughter
busy as a beaver
crawling crashing downstairs
standing up
falling clinging to
my leg dragging
herself across the floor.
Everything
into the mouth dust
coke, spiders, cigarette
butts. Off again.
Stopped from unsocial or
dangerous activities, she
returns finding the weak
spot in our defence. With
the tenacity of an ant
she moves mountains.
